Fans attending events on campus encouraged to arrive early

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A total of five events are scheduled to take place Saturday afternoon and carry into the evening on Ohio State’s athletics campus.

Fans attending these events are advised to allow extra time in arriving and parking at each venue.

Parking instructions for Saturday, March 27

  • NCAA Men’s Swimming and Diving National Championships at McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion (prelims are noon-3 p.m. and finals are 7-10 p.m.) Fans, staff and participants have been directed to park in the Neil Avenue Garage, the Tuttle Garage and in the lots around Ohio Stadium.

 

  • Big Ten Women’s Gymnastics Championships at St. John Arena (2 p.m.) Fans, staff and participants have been directed to park in the lot south of French Field House and in the lots around Ohio Stadium.

 

  • Women’s Lacrosse vs. Florida at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium (1 p.m.) Fans will be directed to follow the directions of the traffic officers and park in the same lots as the OHSAA Boys Basketball Championships. Staff and teams will be directed to park in the lot between Biggs/Woody Hayes Athletics Center and Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Staff and teams should enter that lot from Olentangy River Road.  The entrance will be staffed by athletics personnel.

 

  • Softball vs. Wisconsin at Buckeye Softball Field (2 p.m.) Fans will be directed to follow the directions of the traffic officers and park in the same lots as the OHSAA Boys Basketball Championships. Staff and teams will be directed to park in the lot between Biggs/Woody Hayes Athletics Center and Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. Staff and teams should enter that lot from Olentangy River Road.  The entrance will be staffed by athletics personnel.

 

  • OHSAA Boys Basketball Championships at the Schottenstein Center (4 games all day) Fans, staff, and participants have been directed to park in the lots around the Schottenstein Center (Scarlet, Gray, and Buckeye Lots).  Fans will also park in the lots north of St. John Arena and in the Fawcett Center Lot.
