COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State Athletic Training Club is conducting a 5K run – Running with the Buckeyes – at 10 a.m. April 18 at Fred Beekman Park on the campus of Ohio State University. Registration is now open and runners of all ages and experience level are welcome. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the club’s Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society.

When: April 18, 2010; 10 a.m.
Where: Fred Beekman Park
Distance: 5K (3.1 miles)
Cost: $15 for students, $20 for non-students

The Athletic Training Club at Ohio State is a group of athletic training students who together plan professional networking activities, educational activities, social functions and community service projects. Some of these projects include an Easter egg hunt at Sullivant Elementary School, Christmas caroling at the James Cancer Hospital, multiple canned food drives, dress drives for Fairy Good Mother, a school supply drive for operation International Children, Live Like a Champion, and Relay for Life.
