Jeremy Wurtzman (Sr., Rochester, N.Y.), of the men’s tennis team, claimed the ITA National Indoors title after defeating Georgia’s Bo Hodge, the No. 2 player in the nation, 7-6 (9), 6-2, in the final round of the Sunday at the Varsity Tennis Center in Ann Arbor, Mich. Wurtzman is the first Buckeye in program history to capture a national tournament crown.

Stacey Gordon, of women’s volleyball, had career-highs of 41 kills and 23 digs against the Boilermakers. Her 14 kills at Indiana made her OSU’s career kills leader with 1,806 passing Holly O’Leary with 1,802. Gordon also moved to 12th in OSU career kills with 118 after equaling her season-high of six at Indiana. She moved to 11th in OSU career digs with 1,034. Against Purdue, Gordon had an amazing game four where she had a career-high 17 kills on 22 swings.
