Columbus, Ohio – Buckeye Scott Anderson was named team captain for the 2004-05 season, Jim Brown, Ohio State head men’s golf coach, announced Thursday.

Anderson, who will be a senior in the fall, will lead the Buckeyes in defense of their 2004 Big Ten Championship.

As a junior, Anderson posted a scoring average of 74.1 over 33 rounds with a low round of 68. Anderson was team medalist for Buckeyes in three tournament during 2003-04 season including the NCAA Central Regional.

A three-time letter winner from Great Falls, Mont., Anderson also is a four-time OSU scholar-athlete award recipient majoring in business.
