COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State senior golfer Scott Anderson fell short of moving on to the NCAA Championships Saturday as he fired a final round of two-over-par 72 and finished tied for ninth at the 2005 NCAA Central Regional Championships. The University of Notre Dame played host to the event at the par 70 Warren Golf Course (7,011 yards.).

Anderson (Great Falls, Mont.,/Great Falls) began the day as he carded a bogey on the No. 1 hole, but rebounded to record eight-consecutive pars to finish the front nine in 36. The back nine saw the Great Falls native post a total of 36 as he notched two bogeys and one birdie, to finish the final round with a total of 72. For the tournament, Anderson posted a three-round total 211.

Korey Mahoney from Eastern Michigan and Judd Easterling from Wichita State are the individual qualifiers for the 2005 NCAA Tournament.
