COLUMBUS, Ohio – The 2nd annual American Lacrosse Conference Academic Honor Roll, noting academic excellence by student-athletes for the 2002-03 school year, contains 107 student-athletes as announced by Commissioner Peggy Pruitt. ALC regular-season champion Ohio State had 19 student-athletes named to the squad, as did Penn State and Vanderbilt. Student-athletes who maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better during the 2002-03 were eligible for the Honor Roll. Appearing on the list are six members of the ALC All-Conference first team, including ALC Rookie of the Year KC Carter (Fr., Birchrunville, Pa.) from Ohio State. Eleven members of the ALC All-Conference second team also appear on the team.
