COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State rifle team’s Amanda Furrer finished in a four-way tie for eighth in smallbore rifle at the NCAA Championships. The competition was held at the Pool Complex of the United States Army Marksmanship Unit located at Ft. Benning, Ga. Furrer posted a 582 in the preliminary round and was tied with Petra Zublasing of West Virginia, Andrea Dardas of Jacksonville State and Daniel Hermemeier of Memphis. Hermsmeier won the shootoff to advance to the finals. Kentuckey’s Ethan Settlemires won the championship shooting a 691 final score.
