COLUMBUS, Ohio –Ohio State rifle team member Amanda Furrer, with her seventh place finish in smallbore rifle at the NCAA Championships, has been named a first team All-American. She is the 15th Buckeye to earn All-America honors and the first since Ryan Kohatsu in 2005. Furrer was also honored by the National Rifle Association by being awarded the RedField Trophy, for the top smallbore shooter during the Intercollegiate Sectionals, shooting a 590.

Seven Earn All-Academic Award

Seven members of the Ohio State rifle team earned All-Academic honors from the Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association. Elizabeth Neumeyer, Nick Novello, Joshua Cain, James Clark, Henna Khan, Valerie Lakes and Jasmine Margaria were honored with the All-Academic Award.
