INDIANAPOLIS – All-session tickets for the 2005 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament will go on sale through Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. EST, Saturday, Dec. 11.
The women’s tournament returns to Indianapolis and Conseco Fieldhouse, featuring 10 games over five days, March 3-7, 2005, with no games on March 5 to make way for the Indiana High School Athletic Association Girls’ State Basketball Finals.
All-session tickets for the general public are on sale for $55 at all Ticketmaster outlets, including the Conseco Fieldhouse box office, Ticketmaster charge-by-phone numbers (317-239-5151 in central Indiana) and www.ticketmaster.com.
This will be the 10th year Indianapolis has hosted the tournament, and the fourth straight year the event will have taken place at the Fieldhouse. The 2004 tournament drew a record 37,635 fans. In addition, the women’s championship game drew a single-session record of 9,417. Purdue captured the women’s tournament title for the second consecutive year, and a record fifth time in tournament history.
