Ohio Stadium provides accommodations for those with disabilities, including elevators, accessible seating, and accessible restrooms that will allow for an enjoyable concert day experience. Accessible seating is located on all levels of Ohio Stadium in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.

Accessible Entrances
All entrances at Ohio Stadium are accessible for guests with disabilities. Please enter the gate nearest your ticketed section, with the following exceptions:

  1. If you are seated in sections 1A, 3A, 3AA, 5A, or 5AA please enter through gate 7.
  2. If you are seated in sections 2A, 4A, 4AA, 6A, or 6AA please enter through gate 8.

Assistive Listening Devices/Hearing Impaired
Interpreting service may be requested by calling The Ohio State University Department of Athletics at 614-292-6103 (v) 614- 688-8605 (TTY) or email to hoon.6@osu.edu. To ensure interpreter availability, please contact us at least three weeks prior to the event.

Closed Captioning
Ohio Stadium does provide closed captioning on the main scoreboard located above and behind the South Stands (sections 31 – 39 AA, A, B).

Directions to Disability Seat Locations for Guests Who Have Disability Tickets When They Arrive to the Stadium
Once inside the stadium please utilize these directions to locate your seat.

AA-Deck

  • All AA-deck seat locations are accessible by entering the section where your seat is located.

Club Levels

  • Please use the elevators located between gates 19 and 23.

D-Deck

  • Please use the elevators located between gates 19 and 23. Guests with disabilities will need a green sticker on their ticket to access D Deck on these elevators between gates 19 and 23. Guests can get a green sticker by going to the OSU Ticket Office in the SE corner of the Schottenstein Center or on concert day by visiting the stadium ticket office at Gate 5. Guests with disabilities may also use the elevator at gate 7 to C-Deck and then walk up the stairs to D-Deck.

Directions to Seat Locations for Guests Who Do Not Have Disability Tickets When They Arrive to the Stadium

West Side of the stadium (odd numbered sections 1 – 29)

  • A-Deck and AA-Deck
    • All A-deck and AA-deck seat locations are accessible by entering the section where your seat is located.
  • B-Deck, C-Deck
    • Please use the elevators located near gate 7.
  • Club Levels
    • Please use the elevators located between gates 19 and 23.
  • D-Deck
    • Please use the elevators located between gates 19 and 23. Guests with disabilities will need a green sticker on their ticket to access D Deck on these elevators between gates 19 and 23. Guests can get a green sticker by going to the OSU Ticket Office in the SE corner of the Schottenstein Center or on concert day by visiting the stadium ticket office at Gate 5. Guests with disabilities may also use the elevator at gate 7 to C-Deck and then walk up the stairs to D-Deck.

East Side of the stadium (even numbered sections 2 – 30)

  • A-Deck and AA-Deck
    • All A-deck and AA-deck seat locations are accessible by entering the section where your seat is located.
  • B-Deck and C-Deck
    • Please use the elevators located near gate 10.

Elevators
Elevators are located in the following areas of Ohio Stadium:

  1. Four elevators are located on the west side of the stadium between gates 17-23 which provide access to the Club Levels, and to disability seating on D deck.
  2. Two elevators are located near section 7 that access B and C decks.
  3. Two elevators are located near section 10 that access B and C decks.

Medical Needs/Nursing Mothers
Guests entering with medical or child care needs must enter through the Band Center doors (between Gate 10 & 12) or at the Press Entrance (between the Huntington Club and Gate 23) to have their bag inspected.

  • Dietary or medical needs (medications, single serving snack for medical needs, etc.)
  • Child care needs (diapers, formula, baby food, baby bottle, etc.)

Parking
Disability Parking will be located in the lots north of St. John Arena and in the Lane Avenue Garage. The charge for these lots is $20. These areas will both be accessible, while space is available, from Lane Ave. A current state (any state) issued disability placard, along with registration, and the person who owns the placard must be in the vehicle to enter the parking area. (Officers may validate ownership of the placard at any time.) A shuttle will transport guests from the parking lots north of St. John Arena to the east side of Ohio Stadium near Gate 22. This shuttle will operate from at least 3 hours prior to the event until ONE HOUR after the event. Questions concerning disability parking should be directed to Athletics Event Management Office at 614-292-6103.

Restrooms
Accessible restrooms are located near sections 8A, 9A, 10A, 11A, 17A, 18A, 19A, 28A, 33A, 34A, 37A, 38A, 3B, 12B, 28B, 7C, 10C, 11C, 13C, 14C, 15C, 19C, 20C, 23C, 28C, 29C, 17D, 19D, 25D.

Service Animals
Trained guide dogs or service animals assisting guests with disabilities are permitted inside the Stadium.

Seatback chairs
Guests may bring their own seatback chair (16″ wide or less, having no metal and do not attach to the bench) with a doctor’s note and must enter through Band Center doors (between Gate 10 & 12) or at the Press Entrance (between the Huntington Club and Gate 23) to have their chairback and note inspected.

Ticket Purchase/Exchange

  • Guests requiring disability seating should state their specific need when making their purchase, and appropriate seating will be sold at that time, based on availability.
  • Guests who have already purchased tickets and need to exchange them for disability seating should contact the ticket office.
  • Guests are encouraged to make the exchange in advance of the event if possible. Advance exchanges are made at the Athletics Ticket Office located at the Schottenstein Center.
  • If guests cannot make the exchange in advance, they may enter the stadium with their current tickets on event day, then proceed to the ticket office in Ohio Stadium located at Gate 5 to make the ticket exchange.
  • Guests will be able to exchange their tickets for tickets that meet their disability related need, based on availability.
  • Guests may call 1-800-GOBUCKS for further details about disability seating exchanges, or obtaining access to elevators servicing D-Deck.

Wheelchairs
Guests needing wheelchair assistance while in Ohio Stadium should ask the nearest redcoat or usher for assistance. Ushers will be available to transport fans from the shuttle drop off and the entrance gate to their seats.
