Zach Holmes, Alex Miller, Lincoln Fahrbach, and Andrew Elliott posted an Ohio State record time of 7:27.50 in the men’s 800-meter freestyle relay Friday night at the 2011 ConocoPhillips National Championships being held at Stanford’s Avery Aquatics Center in Palo Alto, Calif. That time put the Buckeye squad in fourth place overall in that event.

Buckeye Tim Phillips, who earlier won the gold medal in the 100-meter butterfly, was part of the winning team in the 4×200, swimming for the SwimMAC Carolina club, which posted a time of 7:20.55.
