COLUMBUS, Ohio – At The Ohio State University’s winter 2010 commencement ceremonies at 2 p.m. today (Sunday) in the Schottenstein Center, 24 current and former Buckeye student-athletes will receive bachelor’s degrees.

Among the graduates is P.J. Hill of the men’s basketball team, who will be competing in the NCAA tournament during the commencement ceremonies.

A number of athletic standouts are in the graduating class. Softball’s Kim Reeder was just the second Buckeye pitcher to earn All-America honors and she ended her career with the most wins (77) and strike outs (706) in Ohio State history. A four-time honorary All-American, Carmen Moraes was a four-time U.S. Collegiate Synchronized Swimming Champion, capturing the trio (2006 and 2009) and team (2008 and 2009) titles during her four-year career. Three-time All-American wrestler Mike Pucillo concluded his stellar Buckeye career with a 107-16 overall record, winning NCAA and Big Ten titles at 184 pounds in 2008 and finishing as the national runner-up in 2009.
