COLUMBUS, Ohio – Nine more current members of the Ohio State football team graduated Sunday in commencement ceremonies on campus, giving the Buckeyes a total of 14 college graduates on their roster for the 2017 Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, set for Dec. 29 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

Joining an already-graduated list that includes J.T. Barrett, Tyquan Lewis, Billy Price, Tracy Sprinkle and Michael Hill are seven starters, including:

• TE Marcus Baugh, a 28-game starter who graduated with his degree in criminology;
• DE Sam Hubbard, an Academic All-American and a 21-game starter who’s degree is in finance;
• LT Jamarco Jones, a first-team all-Big Ten performer this year who has started 26 consecutive games and majored in family resource management;
• OG Demetrius Knox, who took over mid-season as a starting right guard and who is going home to Texas (Fort Worth) for the holidays with his degree in sport and industry;
• WR Terry McLaurin, a communications major who has started all 13 games this season, 17 for his career and who had an 84-yard touchdown reception for Ohio State’s first points in the Big Ten title game;
• SAF Damon Webb, a sport and industry major who has started 26 consecutive games and led the Buckeyes with four interceptions this year and ranked third with 56 tackles; and
• LB Chris Worley, a 23-game starter with at least one start at all three linebacker positions this season and who now has his degree in communications.

Those seven give Ohio State 11 graduates among its 22 offensive and defensive starters for the Cotton Bowl.

Also graduating are two more important young men with the program: special teams standouts Elijaah Goins and Zach Turnure. Goins graduated with his degree in pharmacy (and he’s on his way to pharmacy school at Ohio State next), and Turnure, among the team leaders with 188 special teams plays, graduated with his degree in communications.

Former Buckeyes Trey Johnson and Dionte Allen were among the former student-athletes to graduate on Sunday as well.
