COLUMBUS, Ohio – The academic awards keep rolling in for the Ohio State women’s gymnastics program as 10 Buckeyes were named NACGC/W Scholastic All-Americans for the 2010-11 school year. To be recognized for this honor, student-athletes must carry a grade-point average of 3.50 or better.

Rebecca Best, Colleen Dean, Alex DeLuca, Miranda Der, Sarah Gillespie, Nicole Krauter, Karissa Lam, Sarah Miller, Jessica Staton and Casey Williamson each received the Academic All-America honor.

In addition, the Buckeyes finished 11th nationally with a team GPA of 3.53. The team GPA was the highest of any women’s team at Ohio State and the most improved from the 2009-10 school year.

The Buckeyes finished third at regionals in 2011 led by Sarah Miller, the Big Ten Freshman of the Year, and Carey Fagan, the Big Ten Coach of the Year.
